Registration Complete

It's official, Jon and I are registered for the AZ Ironman 2011. It's going to be a year of little partying, with lots of training but we're both looking forward to the challenge.

Last Pic Prior to Paint

I got the bike signed off by the CHP on Monday and finished welding this week. The bike is currently torn down and most everything is out for powder and polish. Should be back together late next week.

Great Movie

This is definitely one of our favorite movies of the year. Even is the story were completely made up it would still be a great movie. The fact that it is based on reality is even better. Aaron Sorkin killed it on this one.

I almost forgot about this book until my friend Cindy recently brought it up. It is a great read and sure to enlighten anyone on running and help them form a more educated opinion on the development of shoes and how a super high end shoe might not be what you need.

Just Laugh it Off

This pic was taken right after I cooked my hand on a freshly welded pipe. Eric the welder had a good chuckle and I couldn't help but laugh too. It stung like crazy!

Exhausting

After 2 full days of hard work and help from some good friends, I got the pipes all wrapped up using a Biltwell exhaust pipe kit. These things are dope and sure to burn the hell out of my leg a couple times.

No, it's not some super sensitive bar where you share your emotions with others, it's the sweet piece of metal you see below. After about 6 hours of work, you can see the metallic masterpiece I created with the help of Billdozer and Eric the welder.

More Assembly
